Imagine a place where the music is so engaging that children leave humming the tunes and singing the words that help them remember Biblical truths all week; where video and drama are effectively used to teach this media-driven generation about how to live the Christian life at home, at school and in their neighbourhoods. Think of a ministry where children are intentionally shepherded in small groups where they are known and loved; where adult volunteers serve with great joy and passion knowing they are influencing the next generation of Christ's followers.
That is the kind of place we want our children's ministry to become. This is our vision. This is Promiseland. Promiseland is the children's ministry of SMC, where the goal is to be the BEST hour in every kid's week. Promiseland meets every Sunday morning during the 09:30 service. For the younger children (2-4 years) we have a creche available @ 09:30 service, and for babies a cry room is available at the back of the church.
Youth Group
The youth meet every Thursday from 19:00 - 21:00.

Our aim is to help our youth grow healthy relationships with Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Saviour, and therefore...
- We impart Biblical Truth through relevant Study Courses.
- We encourage the exercising of the major Spiritual disciplines of: Bible Study, Prayer, Church Attendance and the understanding and implementation of a Sacramental (Christ-like) lifestyle.
- We allow opportunity to be nourished by Christian Fellowship as they learn to build relationships with each other and to care for each other.
- We encourage them to witness in a practical way their living faith in Jesus Christ.
- We underscore Paul’s advice to Timothy in 1 Tim. 6:11-20.
